TOUGH TIMES?
Everybody is feeling the pinch of sagging real estate, sharp price increases and decreased dollar value. Most of us are tightening our purse strings so to speak, and rightfully so. Now more than ever, your existing home may be the most important thing you own and spend your hard earned money on. Let me explain. Upgrading to a new home in the past has always been a steady investment and the natural process as folks seek to improve they're living conditions. Values steadily have increased to offset the costs incurred when selling one house and buying another. But with flatter housing prices, recovering the money needed to pay the realtor, attorneys and closing costs to upgrade to a bigger home may take many years. In times like these, remodeling existing space or adding an addition to your home may be the best way to invest your hard earned moolah. This is exactly the trend we've experienced in recent months. Kitchens and baths have been at the top of the list, and for good reason. Guys, if you give those ladies in your life an upgrade in these rooms you'll look like a hero. I know, if the fridge works and the toilet flushes and the cable is working, what else do you need? If it was up to the guys, I wouldn't have a job, but the ladies are right. Fix up the house and save your money in the long run. Give us a call for a free estimate to see if a home improvement is right for you.
